We might call  it Post-Metal with Black influences, but that would be belittling because “Angst” is courageous, original, powerful, catchy, deep, moving and bloodily grand; in short, a record that cannot be ignored or confused with the tasteless tide that has been  flooding  the music market lately. “Angst” breaks powerfully in all senses and after hundreds  plays hasn’t lost a bit of its emotional intensity and ability to surprise.
